Ultraqueer is an exhibit that took place during the pride month at Palazzo Merulana, in Rome. It is a project to discover the queerness throughout different types of contemporary media such as photography, art, sculpture, video and graphic design. At the same time, part of the exhibition explores the historical legacy of the homosexual liberation movement in Rome, thanks to the resources of the Mario Mieli Circle archive. During the exhibition a series of meetings and questionnaires were held to raise awareness on homotransphobic and intersectional discrimination. Finally, the material of the entire project was collected in a book published by Tlon, with a chapter written by me.
